Audio out of sync on DVD files in MPC
Hi there!
Before anything, my english is bad, so i apologize if i write something wrong.
Since about six months or more, i'm having problems to play DVD / BLU RAY files on Media Player Classic. I have many different DVD files, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 4:3, 16:9 and of different dates. Some old ones, some new ones. Also, i have it in different formats, some of them are in ISO. and others in the classic VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. When i use Media Player Classic to play it, all of it have out of sync audio, and even it has some stuck behavior. It becomes more annoying because all the DVD are music shows. I love MPC, but i had to star using VLC, and that player works just fine. I don´t understand what´s the problem here. I have a 8 core modern CPU and a rtx 2070, and everything else works fine in the computer. Even, i had another video card before, and it was the same problem. Also i work with computers and hardware everyday, so i know that everything is just fine with it. Overkill to only play a video.
This never happened before, last year MPC worked fine. Also i didn't change anything in the options of the player. I had "K-Lite Codec Pack "Mega", and also had "standard", but anything changed. Even, for another reasons, i reinstalled Windows, but it´s still happening.
Also i have to tell that this happens only with DVD. The other videos, like mp4, mkv, mpeg, etc, are fine.
I write to you more than anything to notify you about this bug, and to find out if it happens to someone else.
Greetings

Re: Audio out of sync on DVD files in MPC
Is the sync difference constant, or does it slowly increase during playback?
All I can suggest is to change the audio renderer:
Options > Playback > Output

Constant.
I am doing what you told me and it seems fixed. I will test it for a while to be sure. If i have any trouble, i will tell you. I've changed of "internal audio renderer" to "Speakers (Realtek Audio)"
Thank you

Good to hear that one works.
How big do you estimate the sync difference in (milli)seconds?

Mmm very few milliseconds, but enough to notice it. Like 100 or 200. It's variable each time. Sometimes is more noticeable, but no more than 300. Something i forgot to say is sometimes (i repeat, "sometimes") the sync audio/video starts playing fine, but when i put it on full screen, always it behaves stuck and the audio stops, backs and stops again during a few seconds, and when it normalizes, the audio is again out of sync.
