Changing Nvidia decoder for live tv from hdhomerun
Okay so I am not sure if this is a klite question or not, but I know this is the place that will know the answer to my question.
I am having issues with some new to me tv tuners - silicon dust hdhomerun networked tuners hooked up to my windows PC. According to them, since I have an Nvidia video card they have a known bug in their decoder that pixelates live tv streaming from their tuners.
I am trying to rule out if that is the case, or if my used hardware is damaged.
So, what I am wanting to do is change my encoder/decoder for live tv streaming to another decoder - possibly lav or something else in klite if that's even possible.
I'm on Windows 10 Enterprise, with a Nvidia 1030 GPU, and watching through windows media center and the hdhomerun app.

I assume they mean the NVIDIA hardware decoder.
You can disable hardware decoding the in the settings of LAV Video decoder.
Media Center uses the decoder from Microsoft by default. For that you can try this tweak:
Codec Tweak Tool > Various Tweaks > disable DXVA hardware acceleration for Microsoft DTV-DVD decoder
