Why do I always get a static (hardware) noise when I use MPC?

This is the only player I experience this with, the static noise comes from the laptop itself not from the speaker. It's a shame because it's my favorite player. Although I always install it with at leas the basic codec package so I didn't know if the codecs add to the problem. I found a bare version that I installed sandboxed which also caused the static hardware noise.

Something must be wrong with your hardware that causes electrical interference or "coil whine" when there is high load on the CPU or GPU. It is not the fault of the player.
