Subtitle blocking out video MPC-
I have an issue where the subtitles of certain videos are blocking out the video. Every time the subtitles appear, it creates a black screen that blocks out the video. When I have no subtitles enabled the video plays fine, and when I play the video in VLC, the subtitles are fine too. I am wondering what is the problem and if possible, if there are any fixes to this issue, as it is the first time I've encountered it and I've tried searching online, but found nobody with similar problems before.
Subtitles format is PGS, and Codec ID is S_HDMV/PGS

Press Ctrl+J to display the video renderer debug information. Please make a screenshot for me.
Then change the video renderer:
MPC options > Playback > output > Enhanced Video Renderer (Custom Presenter)

In MPC-HC options, select the internal subtitle renderer.
Can you give me a link to one of the problematic files? A torrent is fine.

Switching to the internal subtitle renderer seems to have fixed the problem, thank you.
It seemed I had the issue while the renderer was set to VSfilter / DirectVobSub.
This is the torrent: https://nyaa.si/view/1203087. I found the issue to occur between episodes 76-85 of the show.

Re: Subtitle blocking out video MPC-
I download episodes 76 and 80 from both 2009 and 2014 series. No problems here with VSFilter from the pack. Maybe some other program has installed a different version of vsfilter.dll?
The internal renderer is better anyway, so just keep using that.

Maybe, alright I guess I'll keep using the internal renderer. Thanks for the help.
