MPC-HC : size of the video Empty MPC-HC : size of the video

Hello everybody,

I use MPC-HC for a certain time, and changed machine recently.

Well, it works OK, but when beginning a session and opening a video, instead of displaying it normally, it displays a very tiny rectangle in the middle of the screen, probably the most little possible, with the video in it. And the very little surface that stays available is entirely used by the legends, so I do not see the video at all.

So, during each session, at the next step I am bound to use the mouse to give the window a decent size.

Is there any way to get rid of that step ?

I updated MPC-HC, in case the installation program would propose a solution, but it seems no, or not obvious.

Hello, thank you for the answer.

Well, after realizing that Options is in the display menu, I am afraid if I do that, the video takes the dimensions of a post stamp, which is roughly what I had to begin with.

Eventually, in the Options, Reading, I went to alignment zoom, and put Zoom auto to Automatic.

Is there a way to have a greater font in the options ?

Completely resetting settings will fix problems that are caused by wrong settings. It does not give you a small player. I don't know why you would think that.

There is no option for font size.

Can you make a screenshot of the player after opening? Then I can see what exactly you mean.

Well, it gives something like that :
MPC-HC : size of the video KFvoNQn2WrI_2021-06-21

instead of that :
MPC-HC : size of the video KFvoSPixjXI_2021-06-21-1-

That video has a very tiny size. By default it shows video at 100% size.

You can use option "Auto-zoom = Autofit" to increase size.

This is what I meant in the third message, "automatic" results of translating into French and then back to English.
