[Favourites] How MPC-HC handles timing on bookmarked videos?
Hello there!
I hope someone can help me out with this, I've been googling around for a while without any luck. How exactly MPC-HC handles timing when we bookmark a specific time from a video?
I've just bookmarked two specific moments from a WMV file named 20210416_100522.wmv which are 00:53:54 and 01:00:09 .
When I open the .INI file I get these values, though:
[Favorites\Files]
Name0=kanban1;32344477756;0;D:\Documents\20210416_100522.wmv
Name1=Kanban2;36094106554;0;D:\Documents\20210416_100522.wmv
How come 00:53:54 and 01:00:09 became 32344477756 and 36094106554 ?
Thanks,
v.Bart

The value is stored using a unit of 100 nanoseconds.
32344477756 * 100 ns = 3234,448 seconds = 00:53:54,448
32344477756 * 100 ns = 3234,448 seconds = 00:53:54,448

Thank you, I appreciate that. I guess I'll build an excel file and store my bookmarks there, makes it a lot easier to import/export them into the INI file.
Kind regards,

If you store settings in registry, then you can simply backup/restore this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MPC-HC\MPC-HC\Favorites\Files
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MPC-HC\MPC-HC\Favorites\Files
