k lite codec pack issue

I have been using k lite mega codec pack for many years. I had to re-install windows 10 for a reason. after that I installed codec pack and at first everyting works fine. -colors look full and bright- and then after restarting computer, it brightens up black colors and makes the video look pale and gritty. how can I fix this issue?

Which graphics card and driver version do you have installed?

Intel UHD Graphics 610
Version 27.20.100.9466 (latest i guess)

I assume only the video looks pale? If the desktop also has wrong colors, then something is set wrong in the graphics display settings. You need to select "Full range" output.

Try a different video renderer:
MPC-HC options > Playback > Output

Yes, only videos on mpc look pale.
netflix, youtube etc. work just fine.

btw what kind of differences are there between Video mixing renderer 9 (renderless) and mpc video renderer? Does it effect picture/image quality?

The second one is a bit more advanced, with for example support for HDR video. There are no big differences in quality. You should just use whatever works best for you. MPCVR has some issues with Intel at the moment, so you could maybe try it again in the future.

Also try Enhanced Video Renderer (Custom Presenter). That used to be the default choice in the past.

I tried "Enhanced Video Renderer (Custom Presenter)" and it doesn't work for me.
