screen darkening in videos

Hi,
can anyone help in this it very dark to see any video.

I am also sending the log if it helps.
It happens in some file and some not like in friends season I have seen upto ep 15 being like that but after after that one or two is fine but after that it again hapening.

Update the codec pack to version 16.0.5
I suspect that will solve your problem. There have been some bug fixes in the video renderer.

If it still happens, press Ctrl+J during playback. This will show some debug information on top of the video. Make a screenshot for me. Then press Ctrl+J again to hide it.

Thnx for the reply, I wanted to see a movie so I reset the settings and got rid of it, I actually was changing the theme of an app, and it happened after that and your codec is the best, I have been using since 10 yrs and never came across any problem, only this time I did some mistake ,It got figured out.
