The volume control with the mouse wheel is blocked when the mouse pointer hits the control panel player.
The volume control with the mouse wheel is blocked when the mouse pointer hits the control panel player. (K-Lite Codec Pack 15.9.9 Win 20H2 GeForse 461.40)
It looks like the problem came with Win updates - tried different versions of K-Lite Codec nothing helps. It is very annoying when you urgently need to turn down the volume of the video and this is impossible due to the" wrong " position of the mouse pointer.

Re: The volume control with the mouse wheel is blocked when the mouse pointer hits the control panel player.
What exactly do you mean with "control panel player"? The player buttons?
I just checked and it works with Win10 Build 2004. If it got broken with a Windows update, then I don't have a solution for you right now. It will take some time.
You can also adjust volume with keyboard up/down arrows.
You can also use the boss key (B) to pause and minimize the player.

Thanks for the answer! Yes, I mean the player panel where the buttons are. I thought there might be some way to fix this. I have three systems on my computer. Two 1909 and one 20H2 (tried today). On 1909, there was no such problem (it appeared after some changes - I did a restore and the problem disappeared). And so today I switched to 20 H2 and got it again. The problem is minor. Your codec is good and convenient, I'm used to it. I just wanted to report some bug that I can't fix yet.
I also remembered - I couldn't play the video capture from Fraps Fraps 3.5.9 Build 15586 Retail (Video: FPS 1 896x506 60 fps 49074kbps [V: fraps, yuvj420p, 896x506, 49074 kb/s]
Audio: PCM 48000Hz stereo 1536kbps [A: pcm_s16le, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 1536 kb / s]) the program is old sometimes I use it to capture 3D movies or games (others can not cope).

Re: The volume control with the mouse wheel is blocked when the mouse pointer hits the control panel player.
I figured out what was causing the problem. The program "X Mouse Button Control" - I installed it in order to disable the side mouse buttons "4" and "5" (when accidentally clicking on which during Internet browsing, it jumped to another page). In a word, if "X Mouse Button Control" is not started then the volume control behavior becomes normal. May be useful for general knowledge base.
