Lang and sub settings

Yo. After update i cant watch video with eng sound and russian subs. I tryed everything, other versions of packs (Mega, Full, etc), changed in options lined with favourite langs for audio and subs (eng in first line, rus in second or something), tryed reinstall about 10-15 times. Cant fix it.
And my eng not so good, because of it, please try explain simple

And why dont add dialog window, when user choose sound and subs lang at the first time?
Most of us use same settings every time.

And if u can, let me know, how i can specify about automaticaly choose FULL rus subs, not forced rus subs like it was early?

Primary language is the language that you speak natively. You should select Russian.
Secondary language is the language that you partially understand. Select English there.

When audio is in primary language (Russian) then by default no subtitles are shown. If you also want subtitles in this case, then enable the option at the bottom of that page.

If wrong sub is selected after the above corrections, then copy MediaInfo details for a file where it makes wrong selection.

What you want is not possible to configure directly in the installer.

But you can do it by adjusting the settings in LAV Splitter. Configure it like in this picture:

Not in the installer? No problem. But earlier it worked for me. Without settings in LAV Splitter. Just in MPC-HC

Youre LAV magic worked, but part of the problem still have. Default choice is always FORCED. Can we fix it?

You can fix it by replacing
eng:rus
with
eng:rus|n,eng:rus|!n
Then it will prefer normal subs over default/forced subs if a file contains both types.

And one more. Sometimes normal subs not included forced lines, and i wanna play both types. Can i do that?

Is there another subtitle that does contain everything? Because it is not possible to render content from two subtitles at same time.

And think about add 2nd sub like in CyberLink PowerDVD. Sometimes its usefull.

It is not possible to offer simple settings, and let it do exactly what you want. For example your wish to only show subtitles that are different language than the audio, can not be handled that way. For complex situations the complex configuration is needed.

It might have selected the "correct" subtitle with your old settings in some cases, purely due to the order in the which the subtitles occurred in the file. With the simple settings it picks the first one when there are multiple subtitles with same language.
