Main download interface giving no evidence of download accomplishment

The website page that periodically arrives automatically, https://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm, does not give a user clarity about whether there is success after selecting any "download" button.    And likewise the page https://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_standard.htm does not.  I find that all I see is the same page and interface, and chasing my tail repeating the effort is only too possible.  Is there a way to ascertain whether the download succeeded on my own, shortly after an attempt?

If you are seeing big download buttons then you are seeing advertisements. Those sometimes look like fake buttons. Actual download links never look like that.

The real link is lower on the page can called "Server 1". Just below a title that says "Download:"
