OSD !? Realy !?

Guys, for me, K-lite Codec Pack has always been a white shark. She has achieved perfection and has no need to change further. I don't like the fact that you added OSD. I'm not an idiot. I know what video file I run and I know when I pause it. Why all this? Software bloat the scourge of the modern world. Long-term users will only be angry.

It is not a newly added feature. It has been there for a long time. It used to be disabled by default. A lot of people like it and a lot don't. It is impossible to make everybody happy with default settings.

You can disable it during installation when choosing MPC settings.

You can also disable it in the player options:
Options > Player > Show OSD

You have perfect default settings (before OSD show up). I respect you for this. Nothing extra. Now this OSD when play video. Too radical a change in many years. And the point is not that it can be turned off, but in a dangerous trend in future development. I don't know how far you can go with this and it scares me a lot. Sorry, I'm very conservative about such things.
