TRUE volume leveling of output playback audio
Your media playback program is the best ( my opinion ) , BUT it has one MAJOR flaw in it ( my opinion ) ; it is good that you have volume leveling for the individual files BUT , what is really NEEDED , is volume leveling control for the output playback of audio ; I want to place the volume level at whatever percentage I want and the audio I here from my computer speakers is ALWAYS at that level. Currently when I playback videos or music files , I am CONSTANTLY , having to adjust the volume level because of whatever is going on in the video or the source audio level from one song to the next is different. I want to be able to place the volume level of your media player to the volume I want and it STAYS at that level no matter what the source file is doing. If the source file ( like in movies when the action is occurring ) goes up , your program dose not just pass thru the higher volume of the file to my computer speakers. For high volume source files it will dampen it to the volume I "set" and if the volume goes low or very low , it will gain it to the volume I "set". I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of having to constantly adjust the volume of the movies I watch or songs I listen to. SO PLEASE make program's output playback audio "TRUE" volume leveling control stated in this posting --- THANK YOU

Re: TRUE volume leveling of output playback audio
Such functionality will never be added. It would require analyzing the whole audio stream before playback. Plus other technical issues.
The player has an option called "volume normalization" which does dynamic range compression, which means it reduces the volume difference between soft (voices) and loud sounds (explosions).
