MPC HC crash on using Logitech MX Master thumb wheel
I'm using MPC-HC nightly 64bit build date Jun 21 2020, version 1.9.5.10 on windows 10 pro. Decoders are LAV audio, LAV video, LAV splitter, mad filter. The playback is fine but when I use the thumb wheel of my Logitech wireless MX Master mice, it freezes then quick exit without any error prompt. I tried update mice firmware driver and reinstall Logitech options, it doesn't change anything. In fact, without Logitech options it still crash the same way. It appears the issue is that MPC HC does not know how to handle the horizontal scroll function of the mice, when I use Logitech options to map the thumb wheel to another function rather than horizontal scroll, such as "forward and back", then it doesn't crash MPC HC, but I'm wondering if it is a new bug with this app as it used to be fine, seems the issue only happened since a month or two ago. I wonder if anyone else using Logitech mx master mice or any Logitech mice with side wheel mapped to the default horizontal scroll feature can reproduce this bug? Or if you tried with the side wheel and does not crash then perhaps it is just me?
The current work around for me is try not to touch the side wheel during media play, cause I rather not go into Logitech options to change the side wheel mapping every time I want to play a media file.

Update to the latest version. Older version had bug with horizontal scroll.

Are you telling me the 1 month old build is already out of date?

You are right, 1.9.6.24 fixed it, so it was a recent bug.
