Double/Duplicate Subtitles

Hi guys!
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before.

I played a movie with external subtitle (.srt), but the movie shown a double/duplicate subtitle.

Until today, I played a lot of movie with external subtitle, but only this one movie that shows a double/duplicate subtitle.
I updated the MPC-HC to the latest version and the movie still show double/duplicate subtitle.

Other forums suggest to edit ffdshow video decoder, but I can't find ffdshow video decoder. I only have LAV video Decoder.

Any help or suggestion?

Open the .srt file with a text editor and check if the texts are not duplicated in there.

Another possibility is that the subtitles were already burned into the video by its creator. In that case, simply remove the srt file.

Gee... thanks for the suggestion. I opened the text editor and it turned out that all the texts are duplicated at the bottom of the files.
