[Solved] "Remember File position" option not working

I'm reporting a bug that happened to me today. I did a clean reinstall of windows 10 on my desktop today and downloaded the latest K-Lite codec pack (Standard) which includes MPC-HC.
I set up all the configuration as I used to:
- "No icon" on files
- Speed increments of 10%
- View > Statistics
and, of course, Remember File (and DVD) position ticked. I mainly use this for my lesson recording so that I can resume at any time.
As you may have guessed, the option doesn't work anymore. Everytime I close the file, and reopen it, the player just starts from the beginning.

I've tried to:
- Turn off and on the desktop again.
- Uninstall K-Lite codec pack and MPC-HC, check for registry keys to see if it fully uninstalled, then reinstalled again.
- Tried the options "Remember last windows position" and size, and they work fine.

Also, I've made sure that the option "Keep history of recent file ..." is ticked, and they do show up in "Recent File" submenu.
I tried with many audio files, mp3, m4a, wav... it never worked.

Thank you for the time you spend on this project. MPC is my favourite player and I've been using it for many many years.

By default it is only enabled for video files longer than 10 minutes.

You can change that here:

Thank you! Turns out I was using a very old version of MPC and at the time this config wasn't needed for audio files. It works now!
