AC3 filter

Hi, I'm trying to import a DVD video by my subtitling software, but a pop up is coming out saying that this operation is not allowed because AC3 filter is missing. How come? I thought it was included by default in KLite Codec (I've got the last version, KLFull15). What do you suggest me to do?

Full version does not include AC3Filter. The pack uses another decoder for AC3 by default.

It is bad design of that software if it only works with AC3Filter. I suggest to contact its developer about this issue. If you really need AC3Filter, then use the Mega version of the codec pack. During installation there will be an option to use AC3Filter.

All right, then. I'll try to download Mega version, if it is a more complete codec pack. Do I need to uninstall first the Full version?
I don't think it's a problem of my software, it is a professional one and the best in commerce.
I'm just thinking that there's a copyright on the DVD I would like to import...maybe the reason I can't go further is just that. What do you think?

Uninstall is not needed.

Professional software also has flaws and limitations. I don't know which software you are using, so I can't comment about its capabilities.
