Skip Forward/Back issue; 15.4.9
Hello!
The buttons for skipping to the next or previous files don't work with most files. Meaning that when I play a video and click the skip buttons they don't work. They work, however, on some files. Likewise, if I open a different video file before closing this one nothing happens. Normally the player stops the current playback and opens the new file.
I'm on Windows 10, 64 bit. What other information do you need to identify the issue?
Edit: I downgraded to 15.4.4 but the issue is there as well, although to a lesser extent.

If a file has chapters, then these buttons skip to next chapter. In that case you can use Ctrl+PageDown to skip to next file.
Someone else also reported a problem with going to next file. Also in a playlist. Since for you it only happens with some files, do you see any sort of pattern in the files for which it works or doesn't work? Like type of file, or something specific about the filename or folder.

All the files are MP4s and don't have chapters. They are short clips (20-40 sec long) which I've recorded. They aren't in a playlist either. I kept them in one folder while working with them and they all have a mostly numeric names such as: 2020_05_24_184564 4K.mp4
