Media Player Classic window Empty Media Player Classic window

When you run a video in Media Player Classic Home Cinema x64 and go fullscreen (such as in a game) then return to MPC, you find that the window of MPC is in the smallest size.
I use Windows 10 x64.

PS:
I made further tests and I found out that it is not after all fullscreen games, and it can happen after opening Firefox.
But, I am sure that in some circumstances the window gets smaller than the default video size.

Works normally here. Could be a bug in Windows 10.

You can press Alt+2 to resize to 100% video size.

At long last, I have managed to find the real problem.
Media Player Classic Home Cinema tries to access the internet the first time it plays a video.
If you minimize MPC-HC while doing that and restore it again after beginning to play the video, you find that the video is displayed with minimal size, not the real size.
Please investigate and fix.
Thank you.

The player itself does not connect to the Internet, except if you tell it to automatically search for subtitles.

I need more detailed steps to reproduce what you are doing.

Simply open a video file and wait for MPC to access the internet. While it is loading the subtitles minimize the window. After the video starts, restore the window. You will find that the video plays with the minimum size.

I can reproduce it if I use madVR with the option to delay playback until render queue is full. But I also need to minimize the player without a fraction of a second of starting it. No need for subtitles.

Sorry, but fixing this is not high priority for me. Maybe window resizing can't even be done in minimized state.

Why are you minimizing shortly after starting playback?

Also, if there is a long delay before playback starts, then maybe you are using unnecessarily large queues. Assuming you are also using madVR.
