Can you tell me, please, when can we expect a version of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack to contain HEVC / x265 for encoding?

There are no plans for that. The pack only contains VFW encoders, and the ancient VFW framework is not recommended for encoding modern formats such as HEVC.

Nothing stops you from installing the encoder yourself.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpxplay/files/x265vfw/x265vfw_v320/

This one of course only works in applications that use VFW.

It is very unlikely that Adobe Premiere supports this codec for encoding.

This seems to work with Premiere:

I never used this myself.
