klcp_update_1533_20200106.exe stuck on loop?

I just ran a couple updates for K-lite Code Pack Standard, ending up with 15.3.3.  It says it's done updating, and one of these updates was  klcp_update_1533_20200106.exe.  Now, when I open Media Player Classic (version 1.9.0. and check on updates for that, it keeps telling me to install klcp_update_1533_20200106.exe.  

Windows 10 Home Edition Version 1903 on Alienware 15R4.

The player doesn't actually check for updates. It just opens the website.

You can find a real update check in the Codec Tweak Tool. That also has an option to run automatically.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, the update checker in the Codec Tweak Tool, but yeah, Media Player Classic also has an update checker.

The Codec Tweak Tool shows the installed version in its title bar. Is that version wrong?

I just ran through the most recent update 15.3.5 with the Codec Tweak Tool. It says there are no more updates. But Media Player Classic keeps saying that there is another update, i guess it's still stuck on a loop. When I look at ABOUT in Media Player Classic, it says that version 1.91 (e4a6154c0) is installed, build date 1/21/20. I guess it's no big deal, just seems weird that it keeps saying there's more updates, yet it just keeps going for the same update... klcp_update_1535_20200121

The player does not check for updates. It just opens the front page of the website, regardless of what version you have installed.
