Re: Having issues with video buffering (HFR .... High Frame Rate 60fps)
Your GTX 980 Ti does not have hardware decoding ability for HEVC video. And your CPU is not powerful enough to decode this video at full speed.
Re: Having issues with video buffering (HFR .... High Frame Rate 60fps)
First all.....Thanks for the reply.
tell me what do you mean by "your CPU is not powerful enough to decode this video at full speed." if you don't mind me asking can you elaborate that...because, i thought my PC can handle 4k with i7, GTX980 and 64GB ram.
If possible can you tell me what i need to play 4K content (movies & games) without any problems.

Re: Having issues with video buffering (HFR .... High Frame Rate 60fps)
4k is just a video size. The decoding complexity depends on several other factors as well, such as the video format and framerate.
This particular video is worst of the worst in terms of complexity.
HEVC -> more complex to decode than H.264
60 fps -> 2.5x more frames to decode than normal 24fps video
10bit -> more complex to decode than 8bit
You need a GPU that has hardware decoding ability for 10bit HEVC video. In case of NVIDIA you need the 1000 series, or newer.
These high framerate UHD Blu-rays are very rare. If 24fps rips play good, then you need to consider if an upgrade would really be worth it or not.

Re: Having issues with video buffering (HFR .... High Frame Rate 60fps)
Got it. Thank You once again.
Just one last thing.....If I upgrade my graphic card, then it's all set.. right...or should i change processor also.
24 fps plays nice with my present hardware. but still i want to experience THE BEST... like HFR 60fps and 8k/Ultra HD.

Re: Having issues with video buffering (HFR .... High Frame Rate 60fps)
Only the GPU is important as that will do all the heavy work. CPU does not matter.
If you want 8K you should wait until the next generation GPUs is available. Those will have HDMI 2.1 support.
