Sped Up MP4 Not Playing
We have some surveillance footage that plays fine in Windows 7, but not in Windows 10. Same K-Lite codec version installed (1524) on both operating systems. Installed with the same settings. Plays in Win 7, not in Win 10. We're trying to play through Windows Media Player. It's a MP4 video file that appears to be sped up. Nearly 1Gb. Are there any settings I should be looking at so this can play in Windows 10?

Re: Sped Up MP4 Not Playing
WMP uses the Media Foundation codecs from Windows by default, and those do not work properly for all files.
Three solutions:
1) Rename the file form .mp4 to .video. This bypasses the Media Foundation codecs and use DirectShow instead.
2) Use the MPC-HC player from K-Lite. That is much better than WMP.
3) Disable Media Foundation with our Codec Tweak Tool.

Brilliant! Option 3 worked. Under Media Foundation I checked the box to disable MP4 for 32 bit and voila! Plays. Thank you!!!
