K-Lite Codec Pack Mega's software license included in a commercial software

I'm about to release a software for commercial use, but I have a doubt about the K-Lite Code Pack Mega's software license as a third party software to be included in my software as an optional pack for compatibility purposes. I wonder if I can include it without any copyright infringement. My software can stand on its own legs, it has no binary dependency at all, K-Lite Codec Pack Mega is completely isolated from my commercial software, K-Lite Codec Pack Mega's executable file is just compiled as a Compiled Managed Resource in my project. During the installation process I just do recommend to the end-user as an optional tick box for K-Lite Codec Pack Mega's installation. So is there any copyright infringement?

I would prefer if you direct users to our website, so that they can get the latest version available.

Also, unless you have a specific need for VFW codecs, you should recommend the Standard version instead of Mega. Standard is enough for playback of pretty much everything.

Thanks for the heads up, I have an unattended installation of K-Lite Codec Pack Mega which is pre-configured in order to remove unnecessary stuff, however the Mega Pack is the only one which comes with ffdshow codecs which I set it up by Windows registry keys to get rid of those "black bars" on Windows Media Player, that's why I need K-Lite Codec Pack Mega in the client installation, but of course I'll keep it updated and as well provide your website for latest updates.

That is a very unusual configuration to force upon your users. Are you cropping or resizing? I don't think everyone will be happy when you destroy aspect ratio by resizing.

Here's the following settings that I'm using to remove "black bars":


I didn't release it so it doesn't have a name yet, but it is not forced upon my users, since it is optional as well due to requests I've received for my project.

I hope you also give a choice between default settings (no ffdshow) and using the above settings.

A better way to achieve the same goal (filling whole screen) is to use MPC-HC as player, with the following setting change:
MPC-HC menu > View > Video frame > Stretch to window

This has the benefit that you can also watch in windowed mode (with correct AR). It doesn't need ffdshow, so hardware accelerated decoding works as well.

I'll be fixing that not to use the default settings. Thank you very much for the clarifications. So according to the conditions I have explained to you, there is no copyright infringement in my software therefore I can release it, is that ok?

Strictly speaking you do require permission to redistribute, and I am not ready to give that yet.

I am not a fan of the settings you use because they can cause compatibility problems with other software. What exactly does your software do, and how is that related to video playback in WMP?

I understand you don't feel comfortable with it, but for now I can't talk about my project, because I didn't register it yet, so I don't wanna expose the idea of my software, therefore I'll be not including K-Lite Codec Pack Mega anymore, I will refer a link to your website instead as you preferred in your first comment.

I rethinked about K-Lite Codec Pack Mega, actually only ffdshow is needed as an optional pack for my software, since ffdshow is an open source licensed under GNU General Public License therefore I can redistribute it in my commercial software and that pretty much provides me everything I need. Where do I get the original fddshow codecs? Additionally a few features such as Media Foundation from Codec Tweak Tool as well, however it has a Freeware license, so I would prefer to direct my users to Codec Tweak Tool's website, do you know what are the websites resposible for Codec Tweak Tool and ffdshow? Thank you for any help you're able to provide.
