Help with MKV file
Hello, I don't know if this is the right place to ask for help about this. If it's not, then accept my apologies and please point me in the right direction.
I have an MKV file with multiple sub/audio tracks and everything works as intended except for one of the audio tracks. It has a 29 seconds delay and that's the audio track I absolutely want to hear.
If I set the 29000ms delay in the players it does work, but after like 20 seconds of silence. If I rewind or seek forward, that's another 20 seconds of silence until it syncs.
So, I'm looking for a permanent solution. A way to either trim 29 seconds from the video (I wouldn't care if the other audio tracks become useless because of this) OR, the best way I can think of would be to add 29 seconds of silence to the audio track, but I don't know how. I tried a couple of free editors, but they didn't help at all.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro, Codec Pack Version 15.0.0 Standard and my players of choice are Zoom Player and the MPC-HC installed by the codec pack. However, I'm willing to try whatever you kind gentlemen suggest.

Re: Help with MKV file
Remux the file with MkvToolNix. That will allow you to set the delay directly in the file. That should solve the playback issues. You can also remove unneeded tracks to save some space.
