Alternative for Mac Empty Alternative for Mac

I have a friend on another forum who has 4K HEVC10 video playback issues (distortion etc). I recommended K-Lite to him but he says he is on Mac. Is there a way to install K-Lite on Mac? Or is there an alternative?

K-Lite is for Windows only.

An alternative player for Mac would be VLC.
