How to activate auto subtitles?

Uhh um I'm not 100% sure how exactly to describe this issue but basically before I re-installed my windows, on my last one I had this awesome feature that was automatically finding me subtitles without having to add an extra sub file, maybe somehow online I dont know, the thing is I dont remember how exactly I had it in the first place.. And now on my new windows I cant get it to work like before, does anyone know what im talking about? maybe its some setting I messed with before I installed my k-lite codecs or something.. thanks

MPC-HC options > Subtitles > Misc > Automatically search and download subtitles

You can also search manually by pressing D.
