Cant update with "Check for updates"

Hallo. I can not update using "Check for updates" in Codec Tweak Tool. When I click "Check for updates", Codec Tweak Tool disappears and NOTHING happens for 5 minutes. I looked in Task Manager and I see "Setup install/uninstall (32.bit)" is running but nothing on screen. I quit that but 3.6 GB of my ram is STILL used for nothing.

My version is K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1455_Full and I wanted to update to the latest. My windows is windows 10.
Why does this happen and why is my RAM still used? Usage before clicking "Check for updates" was 1.6 GB.

Weird. It should only use a few MB of memory.
