Version 14.8.4 Mega

I noticed that in this version they have added a DirectX web installer.
Please explain how the addition and update of DirectX is used by the player on my Win 7 computer?
I have been using this software for years without the DirectX being on my computer.

DirectX is a standard part of Windows, so you have already always been using it.

Games and video players require some extra DirectX files that are not included with Windows. The essential required files have always been included with the pack. So nothing important really changes in the new version.

The DirectX web installer option is only shown if some non-essential files are missing. This is for example the case of a fresh install of Windows. It is also shown in case the K-Lite installer detects a damaged or wrong file. For example when people have manually added missing files, they something put 32-bit file in 64-bit system folder and vice versa.
