Subtitle Problem on 14.7.0

I've just upgrade my K-Lite Mega Codec Pack from 14.6.5 -> 14.7.0 (manually, using Quick upgrade)
After that, I no longer able to 'drag-n-drop subtitle as it used to be. I mean, usually, when a video is running, we able to drop subtitle file (.srt) on MPC windows, and automatically applied. But now, everytime I drop .srt file, player suddenly stopped. So, I need open subtitle via File menu.

Settings are good. It still works here.

Are you perhaps running MPC-HC as administrator through compatibility settings? That breaks drag&drop (also for video files).

I've check my MPC-HC (x64) properties and it run normally. Here's mine:

I've found something strange too:

The player will Aborted ('Aborted' shows on status bar) if i drag-drop a video file BUT IF I double click the (video) files, MPC-HC will appear and run normally...UNTIL I try to drag-drop srt file onto it.

Btw, I use Win10 (Always get updated from Microsoft).

It seems drag&drop is broken on your system. If you google for "windows 10 drag drop broken" you will find some possible causes. It is not due to a change in MPC-HC.

It can be for example due to new mouse driver, or installing certain software (Stardock Fences).

Pressing Esc once during drag can help in some cases.
