Unable to play this file

Hi,

I wonder if you know, why this file does not play in MPC-HC. It also not generate a thumbnail in Explorer. When I load the file in VLC, it plays fine.

This file is normally a gif of reddit. When I browse reddit with Apollo you can save the gif file on your phone. I think iPhone not support gif, so thats why it is converted to a video. Not sure if the App or the system does, but this file is what you will copy from the phone.

MediaInfo report it's just a generic AVC file, but I wonder why it's not rendering...

It is in DASH container, which sometimes gives troubles. I will investigate what is wrong.

Most "gif" sites actually use video because that gives better compression.

Fixed in next version.
