Re: OPUS File only working on MPC
I'm experiencing the same problem with various media players and DVD authoring programs not playing/recognizing Opus audio. I'd like to know why K-lite codec pack with Opus audio decoding isn't being recognized and what can be done to correct the problem without having to resort to something like mkvCleaver.

Re: OPUS File only working on MPC
The codecs from K-Lite only work in applications that use DirectShow.
VLC uses its own codecs. Conversion tools usually also don't use DirectShow. Many such applications use FFmpeg and that should be able to handle Opus. It might be a simple matter of just updating your software.

Thanks for the quick reply. Interesting information. I'll look into FFmpeg.
