Mp3 file plays with unrelated image
I have this mp3 file I converted from a wav file I recorded with my smartphone, then converted to mp3 with Format Factory, then reduced from 128 to 64 kbps via MP3Smaller.
When I play this final version with MPC-HC 64-bit (v. 1.8.3.1), the player displays an image with the audio file.
Besides the fact that the mp3 file has no associated cover art or something like that, it's a totally unrelated image I've downloaded many days ago to make some artwork.
I played the same file with Groove, IrfanView and Windows Media Player, and none of them showed that image.
What's wrong and how to fix it? TIA.

Does its filename contain "cover" or "folder"? That can be the reason it was used.

The name of the file is in the image I posted here: Atendimento TIM red.mp3. The only relation the files have is that they are in the same folder.

Admin spoke about the image file. If an image file contains some special words like cover, folder, front and so (i don't no all), the image is treated as cover image for music files in the same folder. This function is usefull, if you have an album of music files in one folder, that don't have the album cover in its tags, but it is available in the folder (for example even as folder image).

Oh, I see, sorry. Yes, the image file name is cover-corrente-grau-8-en-818-2-b748aefbbe.stephan_kraft wrote:Admin spoke about the image file. It can be useful indeed, but in this case it wasn't, 'cause the mp3 file is not a piece of music, it's a voice record from my smartphone. So I ask you: is there an option to disable this function? TIA.stephan_kraft wrote:

Options > Player > Other > Cover-art support
Removing "cover" from the image filename should fix it too.
