That is the thumbnail plugin. You can enable/disable thumbnails with the Codec Tweak Tool.

It would be very helpful if you could pinpoint which video file is causing this crash. It is most likely the first file in the folder without a thumbnail, or if the crash happens when selecting a specific file.
If you can find a file, then please tell me where you downloaded it. Then I can also get it and send it to the developer of Icaros, so this can be fixed.

I found all .mkv file have no thumbnail, when use the Icaros.

I can't found a specific file.
I don't need open a folder, somehow the DllHost.exe stopped working on desktop.

Are there any videos on your desktop? Or a shortcut or folder that contains videos? Explorer will thumbnail those when loading the desktop.

This will enable debug mode in Icaros. Should generate a crash report that can be send to its developer.

Thanks, I just update the GPU driver to Adrenalin 2019 Edition 18.12.3 Optional,
that perfectly solved my problem. Very Happy
