help with a/v player
Hi all, anybody know a good a/v player that supports chromecast and LAV filters?
Usually I use MPC but don't supports chromecast.. any idea?

Unfortunately chrome cast screen feature is not suitbale for video playback.. laggy and stuttered.. I need a player like VLC but with good downmix options like LAV filters!

Chromecast usually receives the audio and video in compressed format. That means that the Chomecast is doing the actual decoding and thus is also doing the downmixing and volume control.

Ok I know this, but if I decode audio stream before casting through chromecast I bypass the problem..
In particular my problem is the LFE channel.. VLC ignore it..

There is an "Enable Audio Passthough" option in VLC for Chromecast. That may help if your device supports AC3.
