V.14.5.5 Mega explorer crash - avcodec-ics-58.dll

Installed Version 14.5.5 Mega and I cant use explorer.exe in windows 10 64bit. And is crashing and restarting on every attempt of starting up filemanager. Had to uninstall and fixed the problem without restart.
Its a clean install with no problems. Advanced install to change audio to 5.1.

Cant find a sollution in FAQ or on the forums. Its a new pc, I buildt for the livingroom.
Win 10 pro 64. x299 Itx, 7920x, 32gb ram, Samsung m.2 970pro 512, 2x Samsung m.2. 860 evo 1tb, WC Red 10tb.

Gonna try another version of K-lite, before I give up. I dont know how to fix dll manually.

That is part of the thumbnail plugin. You can disable thumbnails through:
Codec Tweak Tool > Thumbnails

It must be a specific (set of) file that triggers this crash. It would be very helpful if you could provide details of one of those files. If I can download the same files, then I can send it to the developer to get this problem fixed.

Almost ruined my pc there a second, luckily I had codec tweak open so I could change the settings. Made 1 and 1 shortcut to desktop.

I have downloaded that file and I don't get any crash here. Playback and thumbnail both work ok.

As a test you can disable thumbnails for everything, except for an uncommon extension for which you don't have any files, for example .mxf. Then you can check individual files by renaming them to .mxf (temporarily).

.mxf doesn't trigger any respons on file above. Havent tried other .mkv, need more time.

Even changing icon from WMP icon; as post above; to MPC, with only "mkv" enabled thumbnail, repeatably shuts down explorer.exe.

Il add two more points;

Changing to .mvk with file manager open, doesn't crash explorer.

opening up file explorer to quick access crash explorer on opening.

Copying a shortcut to desktop crash explorer so fast it doesnt even adhere to desktop.

Do you know how to use the Windows Registry? If so, import this registry key:

Then Icaros should create a minidump when it crashes. With that the developer can find the place in the code when things go wrong.

Enabling it only for .mxf and renaming more files to .mxf as a test is the best way to find the faulty file. Perhaps you have a folder with partial downloads? My torrent app uses a different file extension for partial download, but some apps might now do that.
