Doubled Subtitles
So, before I installed K-Lite Mega, I wasn't having any problem with using Format Factory to convert my MKV files to MP4 with using an external subtitle file. I came across a file that I couldn't convert, so I decided to use K-Lite to help convert it to MP4 which everything worked out fine. But now the subtitles (.ass subtitle files) are being doubled and overlaid on top of each other when I hardcode them. This wouldn't be a problem if the two subtitles looked to either be different fonts, different size, or just in different positions. Uninstalling K-Lite causes the files to no longer be able to be converted, Format Factory gives an error.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I can't seem to find anyone with the same issue when I google it.

Re: Doubled Subtitles
I suspect that Format Factory might be using ffdshow to render subtitles, in addition to VSFilter which is used by the codec pack.
Try this:
Codec Tweak Tool > Codec and Filter Management > DirectShow > disable "ffdshow video decoder"
If you want a better converter, I recommend Handbrake:

Re: Doubled Subtitles
Disabling the ffdshow just caused it to not run anymore. I tried hand break and that seems to work for now. Just have to get used to a new application. Thank you!
