Weird Warning from MPC-HC
This is the first time of many years' enjoying using KLCP when before the normal playing any file MPC-HC returns a very weird warning:
This warning appears both under Windows 7 and Windows 10, x86 and x64. After click Close MPC-HC begins to play normally. This feature appears with the Ultra Compact PC - Gigabyte BRIX GB-BACE-3160 (CPU Intel Braswell J3160).
There is no any special thing with Windows Media Player and native codecs:

Re: Weird Warning from MPC-HC
It fails to connect to the audio renderer, which means something is wrong with your sound driver. Re-install the driver. Or wrong audio device is selected as the default in the Windows Control Panel.
Re: Weird Warning from MPC-HC
Thank you for your attention and advice. I'll give it a try ASAP. Nevertheless it's interesting why only MPC-HC finds that the embedded audio device or driver are wrong, but Windows Media Player believes that everything's OK.

Re: Weird Warning from MPC-HC
WMP might be trying multiple devices when first one fails.
Most systems have two sound drivers installed. One for your regular outputs (usually Realtek driver) and one for the digital outputs on your graphics card. So if you recently installed/updated the graphics driver (which also contains a sound driver) things might got messed up.

Re: Weird Warning from MPC-HC
You are absolutely right, there are 2 audio devices on my J3160 system.
Windows tells that there is no problem with both of its.
I tried to setup Realtek driver before and after Intel HD Graphics driver. As a result - no difference, MPC-HC returns its warning. It's a pity but I have to submit to get a PC without KLCP first time in my rather long practice.

Re: Weird Warning from MPC-HC
You give up far too easily
Codec Tweak Tool > Audio Output > Windows Sound Settings
That opens the applet in Windows Control Panel that shows all audio devices. Verify that Speakers is set as the default device.
MPC-HC options > Playback > Output > Audio Renderer
Here you can also try different settings.
