Does the k-lite codec pack replace the system codecs?
Does the k-lite codec pack replace the system's codecs?
To elaborate on this, if I were to force KMPlayer to use "System Default" codecs, would it identify the k-lite codec pack as the "System Default" codecs?
How would I integrate the k-lite codec pack into kmplayer?

The codec pack does not replace any codecs. It only adds new codecs. But yes, they should get used when you select "System Default".
"System Default" does NOT mean the standard codecs of Windows. It means to use the codec that has the highest merit (which is a sort of priority system) in case you have multiple codecs that can decode a certain format.
