wrong track played after install codec pack 14.2

I installed klite codec pack 14.2 after prompted for an update, some video I have previously downloaded only heard music, some heard different vocals(may be from another track??) + music, these are karaoke videos, I tried VLC player, wmp, same thing, is there a bug in the new codec pack? I guess these videos has different audio tracks and the new codec pack just played the wrong one, how do I fix this?

The codec pack does not have any effect on VLC, as that uses its own internal codecs. However, its codecs do have a similar origin (FFmpeg), so it is possible a bug affects both.

Can you upload a sample file for me? Or multiple, one for each specific issue.

you will hear the two girls singing, sometimes no vocals, sometimes with some vocals, but you will hear the music in the background. This only happens after I installed the lastest klite codec pack, it wasn't like this before so the new codec pack must be playing another track in this karaoke file(which I belive it has more than one sound track in it), just repeat my previous comment that both VLC player and Windows Media player has this issue, thanks

It contains one audio track. It is a stereo track where left channel contains music and background vocals, while the right channel also contains the singers voice. This is very common for karaoke videos. To correctly play the video you choose a channel and then duplicate it to make it stereo again.

Easiest is with VLC player:
menu > audio > stereo mode > left (or right)
