Some MP4 files wont play with MPC-HC since K-Lite Codec Pack Update 14.0.8.

Some MP4 files now no longer play with MPC-HC since K-Lite Codec Pack Update 14.0.8 Build 2018-04-02.

Reverting back to K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 14.0.5 the files will play again, up to K-Lite Codec Pack

Update 14.0.7 Build 2018-03-28 ...

But after installing K-Lite Codec Pack Update 14.0.8 through to the most recent K-Lite Codec Pack Update 14.1.1

Build 2018-04-18, many MP4 files no longer play, and display the following :

have just found and installed K-Lite Codec Pack Update 14.1.2 Build 2018-04-20,
but this is still also broken for some MP4 files ...
[ and yes latest VLC still plays them ]

Can you give a download link for one of these files? Torrent, website, anything is fine.

If it is not available online, then you can cut a 10 MB sample with this little tool:

Once I have a file to reproduce it should get fixed quickly.

Please understand that it is impossible to fix if we can't reproduce the problem.

there will be some delay,
some time back my webmail client was acquired by AOL,
now today AOL have restructured merging with Yahoo , Verizon and several other entities as "OATH" .
a n d ... unfortunately they have totally ballzed up the email, now can't log-in properly - due to new TOS it tries to send me an access code but it aint sending or receiving emails and it's crashing their server [ ha, AOL used to get nick-named always off line ...  ]

[just checked it on a core i5 win8.x machine with both the mpc-hc x64 and x32 players stating can't render the file, yet vlc plays it okay  ... ]

haven't yet tested it on a couple other vids that weren't playing since recent updates ... but I'd reckon they should be okay again now

That is not a valid MP4 file.

It seems to be a piece of a segmented video stream that you have downloaded. You would need all segments and concatenate them together.

The download was do the oficial site (https://www.webex.com/video-recording.html)... the video is a judicial audience... the witness died... its not possible reschedule the audience ...
