What is meaning of Playing [H/W] ?

I just need to know what is the meaning of [H/W] that i see in every video i watch ?

It means hardware acceleration is active. Your graphics card is helping decode the video.

so what does hardware acceleration mean ?

It means your graphics card is being used to do most of the decoding work. Without hardware acceleration, your CPU most do all the work. The graphics card can do it more efficiently.
