14.0.2 k lite standard packet at default install settings(evr).
Windows 10 x64 latest stable channel updates.

With the new nvidia drivers 391.01 every time i open a movie in whatever format ( avi,mpg) my mouse freeze for 2-3 seconds.

Аналогичная проблема , только лагает/замирает 2-3 сек сам плеер при запуске любого видео.

Помог откат драйвера.

post-R390 drivers have some insane amount of bugs. Stick to 390.65 if you're just going to watch stuff on the machine.

390.77 все ок

Known issues on Nvidia forum:
-After PC is left on for extended period of time, HDCP may be lost cause HTC Vive/Oculus Rift to launch to a black screen. Rebooting PC resolves issue.
-Gears of War 4 may randomly crash
-Doom (OpenGL) may crash on launch if HDR is enabled in Windows
-Rise of the Tomb Raider displays partial flickering in DX12 mode
-Random TDR while using Firefox on Pascal GPUs (Windows 7)
-Custom color settings reset on reboot in Windows 10 FCU -> Working with Microsoft on issue
-Display corruption w/ DisplayPort using driver 391.01 on G-sync monitor with Titan V
-Freestyle may not work after driver update
-Brief stutter when opening a video in MPC-HC

So it will get fixed eventually. So far it seems like this driver is the buggiest release ever done by them.

It also affects other video applications, like the Netflix app.
