Has Vista Support Ended?
I understand that support for XP has ended, but has Vista support ended as well? I'm currently attempting to install both K-Lite Codec Pack 13.4.5 and 13.4.7 on a Vista Business pc and got the following message:
This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running.
Is this due to Vista support being dropped, 32 bit Windows being dropped or is this an error?
The current version of K-Lite Codec Pack installed is 13.4.0
Thank you

Re: Has Vista Support Ended?
The same problem...
Thank you for codec support, which helps a lot for Windows users.
Recently, I encountered a weird problem. I hope this is not a change but a bug.
OS: Vista x64
Installed codec pack:
K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1345_Mega.exe
MD5: 3488AE53FF2FD48CA5BC49DBEEFEB9F2
When I try to execute the following file to update existing K-Lite Codec Pack, an error dialogue box pops up saying "[Error] This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running."
klcp_update_1347_20170822.exe
MD5: 14A7CEB1B190BFA6AC2232146EB4C8FF
-K-Lite Codec Pack web pages still say "Compatible with Windows XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. Both x86 and x64".
https://www.codecguide.com/about_kl.htm
-"These codec packs are compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
The packs include 32-bit and 64-bit codecs, so they work great on both x86 and x64 variants of Windows!"

I'm a little bit confused, failing to find official info or announcement about the error message.

Re: Has Vista Support Ended?
The update requires Windows 7 or newer. There are no updated components for XP/Vista.
You can use latest BETA version on XP/Vista:
http://codecguide.com/klcp_beta.htm
Support for XP/Vista will end soon.

Re: Has Vista Support Ended?
Oh... sad news.
Anyway, thanks for the support.
K-Lite Codec Pack has been the best for a long time.
