Codec pack 13.4.5 broke assfilter

MPC will freeze on start of playback and will continuously eat HDD (up to 300MBps says task manager) and RAM (up to 7.9GB since i have 8GB) or until player is closed. Happens with both 32/64bit versions since i have assfilter on both.

Changing to another subtitle renderer fixes the problem, or rolling back to 13.4.0 to continue using assfilter.

It works normally here. There haven't been any changes with regard to AssFilter. So it is probably a bug in your version. Always test with the exact same file in case of a problem.

The 13.4.5 Pack broke the playback with subtitles, when I open a video file with subtitle the following message appears and crashes the player.



I'm using the internal renderer. The playback of video files without subtitles are normal. I've reinstallled the 13.4.0 Pack and everything went back to normal.

That must be a problem with the internal subtitle renderer.

Can you tell me which processor (CPU) you have?

Can you test both and tell me if the crash is solved?

Can't test cause the system I'm using is 32-bit. My notebook with 64-bit system isn't working so could not test in it now. If you provide files for x86 architecture I can test.
