I installed k-lite mega pack on wine on ubuntu. But when i am trying to play a video i get this error message.

Wine is not officially supported. My advice is to first update Wine to latest version. If that does not fix it, then you need to disable VSFilter with the Codec Tweak Tool (or uncheck it during installation). This also means that subtitles won't work.
