DV too wide

Hi, I've installed latest K Lite codecs to watch home videos .avi with DV codec on Picasa, some of these videos were shot in what was called wide mode on a panasonic DV cam, when I watch them in VLC or in Vegas (i.e. without Klite codecs) they're shown at the right size, but in Picasa they're too wide. Any idea ?

This may solve it:
Codec Tweak Tool > Preferred splitters > Select LAV for .avi
