Setting MPC in K-Lite Codec Pack to prefer SRT over VobSub for subtitles?

I looked through the FAQ on the website but couldn't find this. I am sorry if I missed it!

I'm wondering if/how I can force MPC to load/prefer SRT subtitles instead of VobSub subtitles when available?

When both an embedded and an external subtitle are available, then the external one is preferred.

So I assume both subtitles are external files (or both are internal). In that case, there is no option to prefer the SRT one. In case of external files, you could just delete the unwanted one.
