Ever considered MPC-BE?
Hey admin, just curious why you chose MPC-HC over say MPC-BE? BE variant looks way better, even the toolbar image looks nicer and more modern. Would you consider maybe adding it along with the list of other players that can be used in K-Lite? Current selection only has MPC-HC and Windows Media Player I think.

I know you use MPC-HC nightly builds so I linked BE's as well, both of which were updated in May.

Re: Ever considered MPC-BE?
It is a matter of taste. I personally think it is uglier.
There are no plans to include it. Maybe the future if the difference between the two players increases.
But you can use it together with the pack. If you install MPC-BE first, then it will even show up in the list. Selecting it doesn't really do anything, except that the installer won't create any file associations for other players (MPC-HC and WMP).
MPC-BE uses its internal filters by default, so if you want to use the ones from the pack, then you need to disable those, or add LAV as a preferred external filter (to override internal ones).

No one wants MPC-BE.
People love MPC-HC. Don't fix something if it ain't broken.

Now I see a clarifying answer.
I created a thread to talk about this, but I think it's not necessary anymore. I'm learning a lot of things with the forum's posts.
Thanks everyone!
