Hanging problem bcz unnecessary checking DVD drive

whenever my laptop mouse hover onto File option whole Klite codec stuck for 5~10 second and my DVD drive [rounds and] make sound however there is no disk inserted..how to stop this.. also cd icon show for 2~3 second.. how to stop k lite codec to stop checking my dvd drive evrytime i [sometime accidentally ] hover on file.. also same thing happen when i press D to download subtitle.. same thing happens..whole k lite codes media player classic stuck for 5~10 second then show results..      

using version 12.9.0 mega

PC - Asus K53 SM using widows 7 64 bit

options > player > disable "open disc" menu

This specific problem only happens on a small number of systems. The drive doesn't seem to be smart enough to know that it is empty. On most systems there is no noticeable delay.

WMP does not have a similar option.
